Description

A mixed media mural created in the city of Rochester by community activist and artist Shawn Dunwoody as part of "Protect your Circle," a campaign aimed at spreading information about COVID-19 to communities of color. The piece features bilingual PSA style stencils ("Protect your Circle," "6 Feet Apart or 6 Feet Under," "Stay Home Save Lives"), two skeleton stencils with the Rochester city logo placed at the heart, as well as a pasted up black and white poster urging people to wear mask. The stencils and posters have been reproduced in several Rochester neighborhoods.
