Sometimes you climb out of bed in the morning and you think, I'm not going to make it, but you laugh inside — remembering all the times you've felt that way.
We’re going to make it Austin! Thank you HOPE for Health. 🙏 This was fun to paint!

These walls bring us together: HOPE for Health
•
In response to the COVID-19 crisis HOPE Campaign along with the HOPE Outdoor Gallery launched HOPE for Health. In an effort to provide financial and wellness support to our creative community. HOPE collaborated with closed, boarded up bars on 6th street and we continue to bring artists to spread hope on the walls in Austin, TX.
•
As Artists create inspiring and encouraging landscapes with the community, their safety and that of all Austinites is important. We are practicing contactless collaborations, social distancing, wearing masks and gloves and disinfecting all material while sharing inspiration. Over the last couple of weeks we have compiled a wealth of resources for our community of creatives.

Description

A two-paneled comic strip format. The first panel shows a masked man in a cowboy hat holding an old-fashioned, corded telephone. His speech bubble says "Howdy! How Are You?" In this panel, it is daytime in the desert. In the next panel, a woman, also wearing a mask, responds with "I'm ok, This Too Shall Pass." In her panel, it is night time in the city. Small text at the bottom reads "check in on your neighbor."
